 | Contrary to what may appear in the picture to the left, the Harold & Ovaline Andrews sessions were recorded and mixed by the very capable Jon Raney, son of Zyndall Raney, and grandson of famous harmonica player and country music pioneer, Wayne Raney. It was a pleasure to work with Jon and all the staff at Raney's, whom we feel helped us immensely in producing a quality recorded product. |
| As Harold & Ovaline Andrews and UP THE CREEK, we've made two recordings and have these available for purchase on cassette tape. We also have both these sessions available on one double compact disc (CD). Our first effort, "PAYIN' OUR DUES", made in July 1992, featured primarily Harold and Ovaline, and includes two original pieces by Harold. "SOUTHBOUND", recorded in November 1995, includes vocals by our fiddler, Scott Balzer and our guitar player, Jarrod Harris, as well as Harold and Ovaline. |
